VA Streamline Refinance

The Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan, commonly known as the “VA Streamline”, affords veterans, active duty, and eligible parties a much faster and easier way to refinance their VA loans. The sole purpose of the VA Streamline is to lower the monthly mortgage payment.

Underwriting of income and appraisals can be a challenging and lengthy process that adds days or weeks to the amount of time it takes to complete a regular home loan refinance. The processing time for a VA Streamline can be two to three weeks faster than a regular refinance because income and appraisal underwriting are not necessary:

• NO income evaluation

• NO lender or broker fees.
• NO appraisal fees.
• Reduced title and escrow fees.
• Reduced VA Funding fee – which is completely waived for veterans with 10% or more disability.
